Anakin Skywalker, better known as Darth Vader, was an Jedi Knight who turned to the Dark Side of the Force following the end of the Clone Wars, becoming the Sith apprentice to Darth Sidious and a high ranking figure head within the Galactic Empire.  

Battle Of Muunilinst

Following the Battle of Geonosis, Anakin would aid his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, in taking control of the Separatist controlled planet of Muunilinst, leading a starfighter squadron of Clone Pilots called Gold Squadron. During this fight, Anakin would manage to destroy several Separatist starfighters orbiting Muunilinst before he left the battlefield to try and following an unknown pilot who entered the battle and destroyed a few of the clone starships under Anakin's command.

Fight On Yavin 4

Anakin, after defeating Ventress on Yavin IV

After witnessing this Rogue starfighter pilot destroy several of his clone starships, Anakin would chase after the assassin, tracking her to the forest moon of Yavin IV. Upon landing on the planet, Anakin would discover that Obi-Wan had sent a small squad of clone troopers to Yavin IV with Anakin to make sure he stayed safe. However, soon each clone would be killed one by one, ending with both the Clone's Gunship and Anakin's custom Jedi Starfighter being destroyed. From the fires of this explosion, Anakin would confront the assassin, Asajj Ventress, and would engage the Sith Assassin in a duel on the planet. Their lightsaber duel would last some time, from the landing area, the jungles of Yavin IV, and eventually to an Massassi Temple. Through this ancient temple, Anakin would agressevly duel Ventress up to the top of the building, on which, Anakin took one of Ventress' lightsabers and used it to knock her off the side of the temple. Belving the Sith to be killed, Anakin would let out a loud battle cry on the top of the temple and later use Ventress' ship to return to Muunilinst.

Becoming A Knight

Following the Battle of Muunilinst, Anakin would gain the rank of Jedi Knight, after the Jedi Council suggested that he was ready due to the challenges he took on at the start of the Clone Wars, with him losing his arm to Count Dooku on Geonosis, and Anakin being able to defeat Ventress on Yavin IV. So, on Coruscant, Anakin was granted the rank of Jedi Knight by Grand Jedi Master Yoda and the rest of the Council.

Space Battle Of Christophsis

Upon becoming a Jedi Knight, Anakin would also gain the rank of Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic, taking control of the 501st Legion and leading them into battle first during the Battle of Christophsis.

After Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor seized control of the planet Ryloth and its inhabitants, the Jedi Council devised a plan to invade and liberate the planet, and dispatched Anakin and Ahsoka to destroy the Separatist blockade and clear the way for the invasion forces to land. The Resolute arrived out of hyperspace over Ryloth, along with the Defender and Redeemer, just in front of the blockade. Ahsoka led a squadron for the first time, leading Blue Squadron, and managed to cut away through the advancing Vulture droids. However, after Separatist reinforcements arrived out of hyperspace, Admiral Yularen and he ordered Ahsoka back to the Resolute, but she disobeyed, thinking that she could still complete her mission. The Vulture droids began suicidal runs on the Resolute, and one droid hit its bridge, severely injuring Admiral Yularen. Ahsoka finally returned to the Resolute, but lost half her battle group along the way. The Resolute and Defender retreated to hyperspace, but the Redeemer was too damaged to follow.

After ordering a head count to find how many men they lost, Anakin reprimanded his Padawan for disobeying a direct order. Ahsoka argued that he himself disobeyed orders all the time, but took full responsibility for her actions, if rather severely. He attempted to console her, stating that loss was the reality of command, before leaving to give a report on their progress to Generals Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi. After he reported their losses, Kenobi recommended that he give his Padawan some time to recover, but stated that he would need her to complete his mission. Despite only half his forces remaining, Skywalker was given one planetary rotation to destroy the blockade. He sent Rex to find Tano, and she met him while he was repairing her starfighter with the help of R2-D2. After stating that they had to finish their mission without reinforcements, Tano started to panic and questioned his readiness. He ordered her back to her quarters to "cool off.

Later, Ahsoka joined him in the hangar bay of the Resolute and discovered that he had devised a plan to pilot the Defender alone and destroy the lead battleship to take out the commander and thereby leave only outmaneuverable droids in command of the blockade. Ahsoka attempted to change his mind, but he left for the Defender with R2-D2, leaving her in charge of the Resolute, and responsible for both his life and destroying the rest of the blockade. After arriving out of hyperspace, he proceeded to contact the commander of the lead ship, Captain Mar Tuuk, who had already learned much about him from the archives. He stated that he had been ordered to surrender himself, his crew and his vessel in exchange for safe passage to deliver supplies to Ryloth. However, a scan of the Defender revealed his deception to Tuuk, and Skywalker proceeded to gun the engines of the Defender and head it straight for the ship. Tuuk fled the battlefield, and the Resolute arrived out of hyperspace. Ahsoka's plan to angle the hull of the Resolute toward the blockade to act as a screen so that the fighters could launch went off without a hitch, and Ahsoka led a team of fighters on a successful attack on the blockade. The invasion force arrived out of hyperspace with Generals Obi-Wan and Mace aboard, and Ahsoka dispatched a shuttle to retrieve her master.

After the defeat of the Grand Inquisitor, information about Mustafar began to spread throughout the galaxy, and it was then that Palpatine sent Darth Vader as an alternative to take care of the Lothal's rebel crew, Ghost's crew. When he encountered Kanan and Ezra, he was a tougher opponent to them than the Inquisitor, but Kanan and Ezra escaped with their comrades, but he believed that their rebel force would not leave Lothal yet. He came up with a plan to smoke them out by burning a refugee camp in Lothal, Tarkintown. But they did not come then. And when the Ghost crew left Lothal in obscurity, he ordered Agent Kallus to prepare his shuttle, because an additional tracker was still hidden in the shuttle captured by the Ghost crew, and then he left after the Ghost crew. And when he attacked the Phoenix Squadron with his shuttle, he managed to destroy the rebel fighters, and also their command ship, with which the rebel fleet began to disperse. He then reports to Palpatine about the battle, and he reports to Palpatine that he felt Ahsoka Tano was still alive, and that Ahsoka had allied with the rebels, and Palpatine thought it was an opportunity they had to seize because Palpatine believed Ahsoka would lead them to the other lost Jedi. And they began by sending two new Inquisitors after them.
